That's Amazing |
- The grey tree frog is the largest tree frog species in Ontario.
- Although, they are usually very well camouflaged, they have a bright orange colour on the inside of their legs which they flash when they jump in order to startle others.
- Tree frogs independently developed adhesive disks on their feet in order to stick to trees and such.
- Tree frogs are one type of amphibian that makes its own antifreeze in the winter in order to prevent its cells from rupturing. With this mechanism, this frog can survive even if its heart stops.
