ON-SITE Interactive Park Programming
The Muskoka Wildlife Centre's dynamic on-site programming offers park visitors the rare opportunity to interact with learn about otherwise seldom seen wildlife.
These encounters, offered several times daily, may include watching a bird of prey flight demonstration, howling with wolves or even participating in a 'Meet the Creature' session. There are many opportunities for visitors to speak with friendly and informative staff rangers as they make their rounds caring for the resident wildlife.
Organized groups can arrange for specialized programming, custom fit to their needs. In the past, Muskoka Wildlife Centre staff have created and implemented programs such as:
- Project Wild, eco-based seminars for teachers and outdoor educators
- Advanced Wildlife Husbandry Course, for college and university students
- Focus on Badge Work, for Guides and Scout groups
- Winter Survival & Tracking, for elementary and secondary schools
and more.
